One of the local breweries in Kansas City decided to expand their distribution to include cans. Since their brand was originally designed around bottles, it offered an opportunity for a revisit and evolution of the brand look. The evolution wasn’t radical, but definitely enough to garner better shelf appeal and brand recognition.

The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is one of many states that celebrate Pint Day. This year, MCBG asked me to create a theme and glass design for the event. Most states simply plaster their state name and some identifying markers on their assets. We took a little different approach by giving the event an extraterrestrial twist.

Consumers complained that they don’t like dairy, but they also didn’t realize the scope of products that contain dairy. With a first ever brand identity and unified voice, we rallied the dairy industry together to educate consumers on what is and isn’t dairy. And in the process, we helped consumers understand that most of the things they love, like pizza, yogurt parfaits, and grilled cheese, all contain dairy. With this new insight, we helped reignite consumers love affair with dairy and all the deliciousness that it creates.

4Runner enables drivers to be adventurous, but the marketing needed more context. So my partner and I created an online video series using a campfire as a thematic for storytelling. Campfires are the place where stories of the great outdoors are shared. This content consisted of short documentaries based on four key influencers experiences and shared across their social outlets as well as Toyota’s touch points for a total reach of 44.2 million. Content was also served up on a landing page that allowed the viewer to select stories based on the influencer that interest them.

The CBD category is overloaded with CBD dog products that are basically human products diluted down for dogs. Chou2 Pharma has a unique process that distills the cannabinoids down to just the ones relevant to the ailment being treated and made only for dogs. Once they perfected their process, they needed an identity system as unique as their product. We started with the logo and brand guidelines. From there, we built out the packaging and website.

If you've heard of the Toyota FJ Cruiser, my partner and I are responsible for putting it on your radar. If you think it's a badass, capable off-roader, we made you think that. We started when it was just a concept vehicle, gave it a personality and established its off-road credentials. We had a modest budget and big ambitions, but through a true grassroots effort, we locked-in its legacy as part of the long list of successful Toyota nameplates.

Target Audience: Educators. Fuel Up To Play 60 is the largest in-school nutrition and physical activity program in the nation. It’s co-sponsored by the NFL and the Dairy Industry to utilize educators as influencers in an effort to encourage today's youth to live healthier lives.

Have you ever considered a weekend trip to KC? Working with Kansas City Visitors and Convention, we created broadcast and digital content that used real people from KC to share insights and stories about the area. With all this authentic content to share, there’s really no reason not to visit KC.
